Rich has more than 30 years of experience in management, sales, and accounting in both public and private global corporations. He has led sales teams to over $1.2 billion in sales in one year – as well as building a sales team from ground zero to over $300 million in annual sales.
Before joining H & A Consulting Partners, Rich was Vice-President of Sales for Sendo America, Inc. a cellular telephone manufacturer based in the UK. Rich was the second employee of Sendo in the US and was responsible for building a sales team and developing accounts in both North and South America. When Rich left Sendo in 2004, sales had grown from nothing to in excess of $300 million a year in the region.
Prior to Sendo, Rich was the Account Director for the Cingular Wireless account for Nokia Mobile Phones. His team at Nokia was responsible for over $1.2 billion in yearly revenue and grew Nokia’s market share in the account to over 80%. In addition to managing a national sales team and the day-to-day headquarters activities, he was responsible for developing and implementing trade marketing for the account.
Rich began his career as an accountant. He has led teams in report processing, inventory control and costing, GL, and financial statement preparation.
Rich currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Tampa Bay Technology Forum and is the Treasurer for Leadership Pinellas. He has also served on The Board of Directors of the Summitt Counseling Center, the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce, and JA.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Georgetown College, Georgetown, KY.
